AS A 8 GRADER

As a reader in the the 8 grade i belive that i have growed thought so many leves.For exmaple i hated to read. I use to be forced to read.like When it was reading time i will put the book in my face and i will fall alsleeply and i will saying that i had read.When i enter mr locker and ms shash i know that i was going to do the samething and oone was going to change that. Mr Locker and Ms Shash help me delpolve skill in reading like finding a book that i will like.Once in a while they will come and ask me what is going on in the book then make me write a summary about what i have read and connet it to my life. They had help me so much with my reading i went up 3 reading leves. I can say that i enjoy reading book that i can understand and there are intering .

Food Inc

The message that "Food Inc." is giving me is that consumers have to see what they eat. You might think that the food you are eating good for you but it's not. . Do you know that sometimes the people that make the food clone animals? The reason why we dont know that some foods are cloned is because the industry does not want to tell you. The way that you will find out that the animal is cloned is that someone has to do reasearh.The information is not given to you; they try to hide it from you.

I really dont know if I cant stop my bad habit. I love to eat meat. That's one thing everyone knows about me. Before i saw the video I did not care about cows. I care about feeding myself. After I saw the video I was disgusted by what I saw. On the same day I went out to eat and ordered myself meat. I want to care but it's just hard for me to stop eating meat.

By 4th grade,black and lation students are on average nearly 3 years behind white and asian students.


I really dont how i feel about this statistic beacuse in some occasion it might be ture and in other it will not be ture. I think white and asian do belive that they have do to good beacuase they there family are pushing them.Black and lation are not push to do good in school and then they will start slacking off.

Timeline

• the 14th Amendment = no states can take away our right


• the 15th Amendment = has the right to vote
  

1865-1965: Jim Crow South - Jim Crow Laws did not like the the 13th 14th 15th amendment and wanted black and white to be separated.
1896: Plessy Vs.Ferguson- is a supreme court about separate but equal.This case made separate but equal illegal
1950-1970: Civil Rigth Movement-This is the time when many people stated to fright for there right
1963: Chriden March-this took place Birmingham Alabama

After 1964 they was still probles with the civil right but they ae not so big.
